15 ounce can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1⁄2 cup natural peanut butter
1⁄4 cup honey or pure maple syrup
1⁄4 cup coconut sugar or regular sugar
1 Tablespoon almond milk or regular milk
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1⁄2 teaspoon sea salt
1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
1⁄4 teaspoon baking soda
1⁄2 cup chocolate chips
Dash of sea salt and 2 Tablespoons chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 x 9-inch glass baking dish.
Put all of the ingredients except for the chocolate chips into a strong blender or food processor. Blend until you reach a smooth consistency.
Add 1⁄2 cup chocolate chips and mix by hand. Pour mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips and sea salt.
Bake for 20 to 30 minutes until the edges pull away from the pan. The top will be set and golden brown. Let cool for 10 to 15 minutes before eating.
